The experience in this program in the past two weeks was very

exciting and novel for our team members. We are very appreciative that
we have the opportunity to be taught by the amazing professor Dr. Kyle
and helpful teachers, TAs and guest speakers who gave us different
research insights on the bio-medical engineering field.
The work we have done not only pertains to the research studying,
but also to the pragmatic engineering aspects. For instance, during the
morning lecture session, we learn the biomedical background information
of each project we are going to work on in the lab. And as we start
building the circuits and monitors, we are actually utilizing the learning
into practice or practical aspects. In other words, those are astonishing
opportunities for us to acquire a lot of valuable hands-on building
experience. And we are very excited to work in professional laboratory
and experience what it feels like to be a college engineering student. So,
we stay enthusiastic on embracing the challenges we met in the buildingprocess during the past two weeks.
Since what we learned in high school was only simple, basic
theoretical circuitry diagrams and formulas on the textbook, the main
difficulty our team had was constructing those much more advanced
circuits. And many times, we felt that we were just following what it
shows on the instruction paper without being able to understand why it
should be built that way. So, we would really like to have more practice
on that.
