2)
A) Title of article: BlackBerry to Buy Good Technology, Getting Deeper Into Security.
Summary: On Friday September 4,2015 BackBerry announced that as a part of their shift
away from phones toward software they are buying a companys rival, Good Technology,
for $425 million. Good Technology was an early competitor to Blackberry in the software
market , and was used by corporations and governments to increase and manage security
on employees smartphones. By Blackberry making this big move it will increase its
customer base, but merging these two companies will cause for an unusual testy
relationship. Critics say that Good Technology would allow BlackBerry to improve how
its software works with Android and Apple phones, but the downside of the deal is the
cost of the two companies software to be merged into one. The company believes that
their combined product platform will be the broadest.
