TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
I am a strong advocate in fostering an all-inclusive and supportive educational
environment for learners regardless of ability and skill level. I further believe that all
students should be supported to individually develop and achieve self-actualisation
through Physical Education. My capacity to form meaningful relationships with all
students is vital to my role, built strongly on the foundations of respect and openness
to communicate.

PROFESSIONAL & TECHNICAL SKILLS

Strong communication skills with colleagues, parents and the
community developed through working in several education based
jobs such as The North Melbourne Football Club and Blackmans Bay

experience in interactions with students, parents and the wider school
community.
Proficient in using technology to enhance student learning
opportunities evident through undertaking University pedagogy
courses, which has supported my existing ability to implement
technology such as apps, QR codes and Google Drive within my
teaching. This is also evident through my knowledge and desire to
implement paperless carnivals.
Proven leadership gained through experience as an Active Afterschool Communities coach where I received the Young Community
Coach of the Year Award (TAS) as well as experience in captaining a
