Weakness
As MIS sector is in a very initial
stage, job is not available in
the country for MIS graduate.
MIS
graduates
acquire
superficial knowledge about IT
comparing
to
the
IT
specialists.
Recruiters are either not aware
of MIS, or they are ill-informed
about it.
MIS graduates cannot be the
managing executives in an
organization.

Threats
As MIS graduates work with
information system & we know
information system is very
vulnerable. So, MIS graduates
should be very careful or they
can be responsible for ultimate
loss.
MIS graduates are competitor
with computer engineers. So,
sometimes
MIS
graduates
have
to
face
tough
competition.
Adequate technology is not
available to apply MIS in many
organizations of Bangladesh.
