-dont get too fancy.this is really the least important part of a 5 para. essay, but it
CAN make the difference between good and OUTSTANDING..
SAMPLE:
As America enters the 21st century, many things have changed. Countries that
America out-produced during the last century are now becoming the new
industrialized giants of the future. America finds itself in a more competitive global
market than it encountered during the early 1900s. Even though a century has
passed since America became a superpower, the forces of modern industrialism
will surely continue to be a constant in the never ending race for global domination.

Each paragraph is worth a total of 20 points.

Each will be evaluated based on its structure/organization, development, and
clarity/grammar
