Education

At the end of 2015, I will have completed my studies

to attain a Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary
Education. Throughout this process, I have worked
diligently to develop my skills and attitudes in this
field as I aspire to fulfil my desire toward becoming a
successful and well respected educator. Receiving
positive and constructive feedback and results from
both my academic work and practicum experiences
have assisted with my progress; introducing and
exposing me to some of the many numerous roles,
expectations and challenges I will face in an
educational setting. As a graduating teacher, I feel
that there is still much to learn, but I am also
confident that I possess the right attitude and
determination to succeed in the many facets of
school life.

Primary Education, Monash University (Peninsula
Campus)

Summarised Teaching Philosophy:

2014, Cockatoo Community Childrens Centre,

Cockatoo. 20 days, Kindergarten, medium control.

A positive teacher in a positive learning environment

equals a positive student. In order to extract a
students maximum potential, a teacher must
recognise that each child is an individual and may
require individual needs to enhance their learning and
development process. A teacher that takes the time to
alter or adapt, understand and build a strong rapport
with each student will reap the benefits of students
who are not only respectful and appreciative, but also
motivated and engaged in their learning, an aspect of
education which is just as important as the content
itself.

As a longstanding member of the Southern Voices
