To whom it may concern:

I am honored to be one of the recipients for the Ibarra Foundation Scholarship. I want to express
my deepest gratitude to the Ibarra Foundation. Thanks to the generous donation my chances of
success in college and my potential profession have increased.

Throughout my life, I overcame a variety of obstacles in the pursuit of higher education. After
years of perseverance, I can take pride in the number of goals accomplished. I plan to graduate
from Salt Lake Community College within the next year and transfer on to Utah Valley
University to continue my education in Sociology. I want to attain a career in Art Therapy and
Illustration. I intend to utilize my skills to provide mental health services to the Latino
community impacted by deportation and those individuals separated from their families.
Furthermore, I want to open a screen-printing business in my local community to assist local
artists by sharing their artwork and designs.

I appreciate my benefactors intentions to ease my financial burden and that of my colleagues. I
