Most colleges would also like you to have at

Bachelors Degree: Basic level research jobs and field studies.


Masters Degree: Higher-paying consulting, teaching, or
researching jobs.
Ph.D: Teaching at post secondary level, and most research field
jobs require you to have a Ph.D.

General Requirements

A minimum of 30 credits is required by Graduate Division to complete a Plan A Master's Degree, earning a grade of a B or
better and maintaining a GPA of at least 3.0

At least 18 credits of coursework and between 6 - 12 credits of Research (699) or Thesis (700) work. A minimum of 6
credits of MBIO 700 is required to graduate.

WHy I chose Marine Biology


Ever since I was little I was always
so fascinated with the ocean and how it
worked. Now in high school, I still
find myself loving the Oceans, and
would love to spend my career studying
our worlds Marine Life.
