Audit Process

This diagram shows the process flow for an audit.

Diagram Flow
The diagram flows from top to bottom and is in a cross functional flowchart style. The
headings at the top of the page denote the type of function each process is. The different
types are Planning, Execution, Review, Reporting, and Issuance.

Report
This diagram also has a report associated with it. The report is titled Audit Process
Report and can be accessed via the Data, Reports menu. To run the report choose the
report then click Run, choose the report format, click Ok, then the report is generated.

Data
At each step in the diagram data is being tracked, in this case it is an overview of the
monthly volumes for each process.
The data resides in an Excel file named Loan Consolidation Steps Data.xls. The table
is named LCSData. The data table has the following columns:

Document Name The name of the attached document

Data Graphics
There is one data graphic used in this diagram.

Data Graphic - Audit

This data graphic is made up of one element and is applied to the process steps.
Attached Document This is an icon set that displays an information icon when
the process step has an attached document.

Refreshing Data
Originally the Visio Drawing and Data files were placed in the following directory C:\
Financial Services. To refresh the data when the data file resides in a different location
use the following steps:

Right Click on the External Data window and choose Configure Refresh
Click Change Data Source
Choose Microsoft Office Excel workbook, then click Next >
Click Browse, navigate to and select Audit Process Data.xls, then click
Open
5. Click Next >
6. Click Ok to select a new data source
7. With Audit Data$ as the range you want to use, and First row of data contains
column headings checked, Click Next >
8. Click Next > to include all columns and all data
9. Click Finish to exit the Data Selector
10. Click Ok to exit the Refresh Data dialog
11. Right Click on the External Data window and choose Refresh Data to refresh
the data in the drawing.
