Method Statement for Pressure Test

For Underground Soil Pipe and Car Park Drain
General
- Pipes shall be tested section by section.
- Short branches shall be tested separated with the main drain pipe
- Test Plug shall be plug on at both side.
- This pressure test are by gravity pressure at 1m from finishing level.
- Fill pipe section with water, ensuring that pipe is thoroughly ventilated.
- Hold for 30 minutes and record results of the pressure test.
- Water Level drop shall not be more than 5mm
- Test is considered successful if no leakage is detected and pressure drop is within
