Instant Activity:
Good afternoon Tiger Pride. To
start off our day we are going
to warm up with our dribbling.
We are going to be playing a
game I call Attack. This is
similar to the activity on
Tuesday when each student has
a ball and they are going to be
dribbling the ball around in the
grid avoiding the attackers.
There will be 2 attackers to
start. If the attackers kick your
ball out of bounds you will also
become an attacker until there
are only a few people left.
It is important to listen to my
commands. More than one
person can attack the same
ball. You must tell me which
students ball youre going to
attack. If the ball is dribbled
out of bounds you become an
attacker. Cannot go until I say
attack. When I yell attack is
over you must come back to me
immediately. Would you like a
demonstration? I need 2
attackers. Everyone else grab a
ball and start dribbling in the
grid right away.
Are there any questions?
Transition
Students will place equipment
in the equipment bag and be
seated on the white base line on
the teachers cue.
Set Induction:
Today we are going to review
and practice the soccer skills in
small groups at stations. This is
the time to practice and improve
your soccer skills. Give each
other feedback to make
adjustments.
Purpose:
