THE PROBLEM
Corporations or the private sector have a challenge with recruiting
talent within the diversity community. Many companies have publically
expressed their problem and efforts to solve the lack of diversity
representation in the workplace. They are challenged with how to
find diversity talent and how to increase talent development in the
workplace, all while meeting EEOC compliance
OUR SOLUTION
DiverseNote solves this customer problem by providing a data-driven
targeted recruitment approach. Recruiters are able to identify general
or very specific needs in recruitment. We then use many data points
collected from members to meet recruitment needs based on diversity
factors, education, skills sets, career plans and more.
DiverseNote a software platform for professionals within the diversity
community and companies that seek the best of the worlds talent.
We provide the source for recruitment across all diversity markets,
measurable mentor relationships, and data based recruitment solutions
for companies looking to specifically source talent within the diversity
community while being EEOC compliant.
THE MARKET
The Serviceable Available Market (SAM) is identified as adults within the
diversity community that are part of the workforce. According to the
U.S. Department of Labor June 2015 Employment Situation Summary,
this population is 62.9% of the U.S. population1

COMPETITION
DiverseNote large competitors are LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, and
Monster. Small competitors include diversityinc.com. These
competitors are primarily job boards that have limitations on the data
they can provide as well as limitations on strategy regarding a niche,
diversity recruitment and career management.
BUSINESS MODEL
For recruitment and mentorship services, the business model is a
license agreement with a monthly per user fee that is billed on an
annual basis. The monthly fee ranges from $250 to $450. Companies
pay for DiverseNote services. Membership is free for career
candidates. Advertising and purchase of data services are independent
from the recruitment business model.
COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
The DiverseNote competitive advantage is targeted recruitment
based on big data exclusive to DiverseNote as well as our strategy for
effective diversity recruitment that increasing EEOC compliance.

INVESTMENT
To date, DiverseNote has grown through bootstrapping. DiverseNote
did not receive its first outside investment until July 2015 from the
University of Michigan Board of Reagents in the form of a SAFE. We are
actively looking for Angel and VC investment.
