In response to the opening posted on your website, please consider me an applicant
for the police officer position posted in your New Egypt location.
As shown in my resume I have recently graduated from Bethune-Cookman
University, in Daytona Beach, Florida. For this reason I am up to date with all current
rules and regulations needed to be a police officer. I graduated within the top 100
in my class so I am a great candidate for this position. I am fluent in American Sign
Language so I would have an advantage in dealing with the hearing impaired. I type
fast, so I would not fall behind in typing incident reports, criminals' descriptions,
fingerprints etc. I am very athletic as I ran for my high school and college track
team so criminals would not escape under my watch. I am available to work
anytime. It states on the website you are looking for full-time police officers and I
am ready to accept that kind of responsibility and settle down here in New Jersey if
offered the position.
