the difference between us?

i had a heart:
a heart now tougher than diamond,
because everytime you broke it
i would mend it to be harder
so that it wouldnt break again.
but everytime you came around
and left
i failed at keeping myself together.
slowly you tore me apart.
was i merely a toy you could play around with?
a toy with satin hair, bright eyes,
hope, potential,
and a broken smile?
they say that time heals all wounds
but all time has given me is
moments of painful memories.
but this time im sure,
the memories are now just scars.
don't tell me you're sorry
don't tell me you love me
dont hold me in your arms
i gave you ur chances
im strong enough, i'm moving on
get off ur knees, it's no use;
