Students complete their first full CS.
(on-going: students should add Making
connections to their own art making
practice slides)
Crunch Time!
Students may now be ready to design and execute their own CS based on prior
drafts/experience. This may well be the final CS they submit for external assessment.
It can be reviewed and refined this year prior to the April deadlines.
Possible Gallery visit, begin to draft possible physical arrangements for their own exhibition
Students will begin the process of selecting and/or designing final process portfolio screens (HL 13-25, SL 9-18)
They should also take stock of where the gaps may be while there is still time to address any weaknesses.
Teachers may set up one on one meetings with students to review there PP slides thus far.
Students should complete a draft of their CURATORIAL STATEMENT that can be reviewed and refined this year.
For many schools this may be the last term to create new studio works. By now students will likely have a personal direction strongly
established. Students may need to be encouraged or directed to ensure they are demonstrating a clear connection between their
studio practice and their CS investigations.
TEACHERS should finalise exhibition space and mounting (surface) options as the phyiscal availability of space and furnishings
