BOARD OF DIRECTORS
It seems only yesterday that we came up with the idea for the MARHO Championships
program, and now we are celebrating its 20th edition how fast time flies when youre having
fun!
President
ANTONIO G. de UBAGO Jr.
It is interesting to look back and see how humble our beginnings were, and to see how
big the program has become after 20 years. Thanks to the leadership of MARHO through the
years, which has not wavered from this path, the program is stronger and more prestigious
than ever.
The programs aim is to bring racing and breeding closer to international standards;
provide incentives for local breeders to improve bloodstock in the country; and for racehorse
connections to bring up their runners to championship standards.
We also look to the future and vow to continue what is now an annual tradition eagerly awaited by
participants and aficionados.
To everyone who supported the MARHOChampionships racing festivals through the past two decades,
please accept my sincere thanks, as we set as our sights on the years to come.

and to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and its vice-chairman and general manager Atty. Jose Ferdinand
M. Rojas II, our gratitude for the reliable sponsorships.
We also thank Philippine Racing Club for their unstinting cooperation that makes this event successful, as well as
for their generosity and logistical support.
To our other sponsors this year, our gratitude as well: Andoks Corporation, Esicor, Jade Bros. Freight,

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office is pleased to support MARHO once more, this
time for its landmark 20th MARHO Cup Championships racing festival.
According to its mandate, PCSOs core services are centered on medical- and healthcarerelated assistance; it is also in line with this mandate that the agency assists horseracing.
We also acknowledge the decades-long partnership of PCSO and the racing industry, as well
as the contributions that racing and breeding make to its community and the nation in general.
Congratulations to MARHOs officers and members on its surely successful MARHO
