DMRC Syllabus

Selection process for DMRC jobs:

There are four positions for which this recruitment is being held and you can find the post-wise
selection process as given in the table below:

As you can see above, for Station Controller/ Train Operator and Customer Relations Assistant, the
selection process is 4-staged, while it is 3-stage for JE (there is no Psycho test) and 2-stage for
Maintainers (there is no Psycho test and Interview).
Exam Pattern/Syllabus of DMRC Exams:
DMRC written Exam for all posts except for that of Maintainers consists of two papers, both
objective:
1.0 Paper-I: Consisting of five test sections as given below:
General Awareness, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude & Knowledge of discipline.
There are a total of 120 questions, each with 1 mark, thus totaling 120 marks. This has to be
answered in 1-1/2 hour. Thus you have 45 seconds to answer a question.
1.0 Paper-II: Consisting of Test of English Language which has 60 question, 60 marks to be
answered in 45 minute - 45 seconds per question again.

Negative marking in DMRC exam: Beware! There is negative marking- 1/3 mark for each wrong
answer.
