01D The NT Father Supporting Evidence

This study was last updated on 10/30/15 and is 24 pages long

Introduction
After proving the definition of the word "Father" and what that means in relation to all those who call him by that name,
this study looks at all the ways God the Father and Jesus the Son are acting, working, or being together.
It is important that you have read 01D The NT Father Definition and Jesus, before reading this study.

The Adoption as Sons

Part 6A The Father put Everything in the Son's hands

Jesus was given many things by the Father.
Luke 10:22 All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the
Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to
reveal him."
Committed: To hand over, to entrust:
All things were committed before Bethlehem. see Section 15 Jesus is under the authority of God linked here
If all things were committed to Jesus then he didnt have them before that point. It happened after God decided it
would happen. Jesus needed God the Father to give him something.
The Father doesn't need anyone to give Him anything.
This passage brings questions against the theory of the Trinity, if they are individual and equal beings, why does the HS
not know Jesus?
Luke 22:29 And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me,
30
so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of
Israel.
(Confer: To grant as a possession, to bestow.)
Vs29 Jesus gives the kingdom to the disciples just as God had given it to Jesus.

Vs29 The disciples went from not having it to having it, just like Jesus went from not having it to having it.
Vs29 If Jesus was God he would not need to have the kingdom conferred on him.
God the Father owned it already.
John 6:27 Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man
will give you. On him God the Father has placed his seal of approval."
Vs27 The first time God is called God the Father, 1 time in the Gospels, 17 more in the rest of the NT
God is the Father, the Father is God.
God the Father placed his seal of approval on Jesus!
Did God put his seal of approval on Himself or on another?
Here is a clear sign that there is not equality between the son and the Father if Jesus needs his Father's approval. Can we
imagine that Jesus would put his seal of approval on God the Father? No.
John 17:1-4 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: "Father, the time has come.
Glorify
your Son, that your Son may glorify you.
2
For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him.
3
Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
4
I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.
Vs1 Father glorify "your son," not "the son." Your son belongs to the Father.
Jesus calls God Father, God and Father are the same being
Vs2 Jesus was granted authority, before he was granted authority he did not have it
The Father granted the Son authority, no signs of equality here.
God does not need to be granted authority
Vs3 One true God AND Jesus Christ. Eternal life is both of them.
The only true God who is the Father. And another who is not "the only true God," Jesus Christ.
If Jesus is God then this reads the only true God and God which makes no sense.
Vs4 Jesus never gives the Father work to do because he is a lower being.
Summary:
Luke 10
Luke 22
John 6
John 17

All things were committed to the son by the Father

The Father conferred a kingdom on the son
The Father placed his seal of approval on the son
Jesus was granted authority, before he was granted authority he did not have authority

God the Father puts everything in position for the son.

There is an in depth study at 22 God put things in position for Jesus xxxx linked here
There is no equality, there are clear differences of hierarchy and position.
There is an in depth study at 02E Jesus has no equality with God linked here.
Because of who Jesus is, he needs to have all things committed to him, he needs the kingdom to be conferred on him, he
needs God's approval and he needs to be granted authority. All of these things he did not have at some point.

Part 6B The Father and the Son have Different Wills

Jesus has a different will from God.
Mathew 26:39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is
possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."
42 He went away a second time and prayed, "My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away
unless I drink it, may your will be done."

Vs39 God and Jesus had different wills.

Vs42 Jesus knew he could get out of it if his father, God, granted him permission. But Gods will was of higher
importance than Jesus' will. No equality here.
John 8:28 I am the one I claim to be and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has
taught me.
29
The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him."
Vs 28 Jesus does nothing on his own, does only what God the Father taught him,
Jesus didnt know it before he was taught, whereas God does not need to be taught anything because He already knows
everything, and always has.
Vs 29 Jesus was sent by God, is looked after by God, does what pleases God.
Jesus doing the will of God. One being doing the will of another being. Two wills, two beings.
38

John 6:37-38 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.
For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.

Vs37 The Father gave to the Son, not possible if one is the other
Vs38 Jesus came to do the will of the Father, Jesus chose to do the will of another.
We know that God is not divided so, how could Jesus have another will in order to be able to choose to do Gods will
and also be God? Not possible
Summary:
Mat 26:39
John 8:28
John 6:38

God's will holds power over the will of Jesus.

Jesus does that which pleases his Father
Jesus chose to do the will of another

Both Jesus and the Father have different wills therefore Jesus cannot be God
See Section 17 Jesus has a different will but submits linked here

Part 6C The Son is Subordinate to the Father

John 12:49-50 For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to
say and how to say it. I know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father
has told me to say.
Jesus had a conversation of sorts with God, who sent him, commanded him, and told him, what to say.
No one tells God what to do.
Jesus followed the command of God the Father
Jesus was subordinate before he came to earth and subordinate during his time here.
John 14:23-24 Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and
we will come to him and make our home with him.
24
He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong
to the Father who sent me.
Vs23 We implies two or more will come, God and Jesus will still be two, when they come to disciples during a disciples
life time on earth.
Vs24 Jesus was speaking Gods words, not his own, like we speak them when we quote the Bible.
Vs24 Jesus was sent by God the Father. No one sends God
John 16:26 In that day you will ask in my name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf.

The son asks the father, the father never has to ask the son?
If Jesus asks then it is because he doesnt yet have authorization.
Jesus cannot be God if he has to ask the Father
Summary:
John 12
John 14
John 16

The Father commanded the son what to say and how to say it
Jesus says the words you hear are not my own
Jesus might ask the Father on our behalf

The son is subordinate to the Father, God is not subordinate to himself

Because of this subordinate position Jesus cannot be God who is not subordinate
Jesus' words are not his own, he learned them from another. God did not learn them from another.
Section 15 Jesus is under the authority of God linked here

Part 6D The Father is greater than the Son

John 10:28-30 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my
29
My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of my Fathers
30
I and the father are one.

hand.
hand.

Vs29 My father is greater than all. Why if Jesus is equal would he say this? Why not say Jesus is greater than all? Why
not say the Father is greater than all except me?
How can the Father be greater than the son in any way and the son be equal?
Vs30 I and the father are one Jesus is stating that his thoughts, ideas, and works are in accordance with God, just as
we, as disciples, are said to be one with each other.
John 14:28 You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you
be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.
Jesus clearly says he is less than the father. The father is greater than the son
If Jesus were God why would he say this?
Summary:
John 10:28-30 Jesus says the Father is greater than he is.
John 14:28 Jesus again says the Father is greater than he is.
God cannot be less than something or someone
See section 11 Who did God say Jesus was,
Section 11B Who did Jesus say God was
Section 12 Who did Jesus say Jesus is

Part 6E Only the Father is God

John 20:17 Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my
brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'
Jesus is returning to God, this would indicate that Jesus is not with God and is not God.
Jesus will go from not being with God to being with God, not being with the father to being with the father
If Jesus is returning to God how can he be God?

would

If the Father went somewhere would he return to his God? How?

Would the Father call the son my God? No, and he never did.
Would the Father say he is returning to God? Of course not
1 Corinthians 8:6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live;
and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live. Paul says there is but
one God who is the father and one Lord, Jesus Christ He does not say there is one God who is also Christ Jesus, he
does not say there is one Jesus who is God.
Why does Paul never discuss the so called three part Trinity?
Why does Paul never say there is one God, the son?
Why does Paul say that only the Father is God, if Jesus is God also. Did he make a mistake?
Galatians 1:1 Paul, an apostlesent not from men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who
raised him from the dead 2and all the brothers with me,
Vs1 Jesus Christ and God the father two beings. When they are both mentioned together there is never a time when
scripture says Jesus the God and also the Father, why?
From Christ and God, Paul was sent by both of them.
Summary:
John 20
1 Corinthians 8
Galatians 1

Jesus returned to his Father his God, the one God.

Yet for us there is one God, the Father. One God the Father.
From Jesus Christ and God the Father
If Paul thought Jesus was God he would have said so.
Only the Father is God and for these reasons Jesus is not God

Both Jesus and Paul tell us that only the Father is God.
Neither of them say that Jesus is God. The passages in which some believe Jesus makes such a claim are addressed on
the home page.
See section 1 and 1A One God, God is One

Part 7A The Father and Jesus during his Early Earthly Life
Mathew 17:5 A voice from a cloud said This is my son whom I love, with him I am well pleased. Listen
to him.
God said this is my son, an owner and an owned. God did not say, this is me in a human body
This is a simple sentence describing the relationship between God and Jesus. God says this is my son, making him Jesus
Father. Why did God not say this is the son if a three part Trinity is in place?
Why does God always speak of His son which implies ownership, or belonging, rather than the son which does not?
Why, if the HS a third person of the so called Trinity, does the HS never call God his father or Jesus his son?
Mathew 18:19 Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for
you by my Father in heaven.
20
For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."
Vs19 My Father, the Father, is the answerer of prayers, not Jesus. Only God the Father answers prayers
There is no Jesus the God answering prayers
Vs20 Jesus is interceding when people pray to God
Luke 2:49 Why were you searching for me?" he asked. "Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's
50
But they did not understand what he was saying to them.

house?"

Why did Jesus call it his Fathers house and not his own house?
If the father is a figurative name for an equal person of the Trinity, then whose house did Jesus actually say he had to be
in?
John 5:43 I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his
own name, you will accept him
Why if Jesus is God would he come to earth in his fathers name?
Summary:
Matthew 17
Matthew 18
Luke 2
John 5

God calls Jesus his son implying ownership or belonging

Jesus calls God, my Father. The Father answers prayers
Jesus was in his Father's house, not in his own house
Jesus came in his Father's name

Because of these statements Jesus is not God

God the Father AND Jesus worked together in Jesus early earthly life
(See also Section 10 Jesus early earthly beginnings etc)

P7B The father and the son at the end of Jesus earthly life
Luke 22:42 Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done."
43
An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.
Vs42 Gods will and Jesus wills were different, Jesus submitted to God's will. Jesus asked God for a way out of doing
what God wanted. If Jesus were God, would he have to ask himself?
Vs43 God would not need angels to strengthen himself.
Are we to think that God would speak these verses?
Luke 23:46 Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit."
Jesus died and committed his spirit into Gods, his Fathers, hands, which is what we all do when we die.
Why would he commit his spirit to his Father if he is God?
What is the Trinitarian understanding of this verse? Whose spirit does Jesus have?
John 12:27 Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it was for this
very reason I came to this hour.
Jesus was scared of death, why? God would not be scared of anything. Jesus wondered about asking God for a way out,
but decided that the reason he had come was to die for sinners.
Why would God consider having to ask another to save him?
John 20:17 Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my
brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'
Jesus is returning to the God the Father, this would indicate that Jesus is not God the Father
Jesus goes from not being with God to being with God, not being with the Father to being with the Father
If Jesus is returning to God how can he be God?
If the Father went somewhere would he return to his God? This is an impossible, ridiculous, thought.
Why does Jesus say my Father and my God?
Would the father call the son my God?

Summary:
Luke 22
Luke 23
John 12
John 20

Jesus asked God the Father for a way out of dying, then submitted. Was strengthened by an angel
Jesus committed his spirit to his Father
Jesus nearly asked God the Father to save him from death
Jesus says my Father and my God

God does not need to be saved.

God does not commit his spirit to another.
God is eternal and cannot die.
God is not separate from God.
God does not have a God.
Therefore, for these reasons, Jesus is not God.
See also Section 26 Jesus dies on the cross and
Section 27 When Jesus left the earth and
Section 02N Jesus has a God

Part 7C The Father and the Son returning at the end times
Mark 13:32 No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the
Father.
Jesus does not know when the last day is, only the Father knows this.
If Jesus is God why doesnt he know this?
Do Trinitarians think that the HS doesnt know the end of times?
To say Jesus gave up knowing is not biblical, Jesus remembered he was alive before creation (John 17:5) why would he
give up knowing this piece of information?
There is an in depth analysis of this passage in 38 When God and Jesus return at the end of times linked here
1 Cor 15:24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has
destroyed all dominion, authority and power.
25For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
26The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
27 Now when it says everything has been put under him, it is clear this does not include God himself, who
put everything under Christ.
V28When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God
may be all in all.
Vs24 Paul says that at the ends of time, Jesus will do certain things the father will do something else.
Vs24 Why hand it over to the father, why not keep it if Jesus is God?
Vs24 Jesus was given authority over the kingdom by God and now he gives the kingdom back to God, whose it was
originally.
Vs25 There comes a period in time when Jesus does not reign, why is this so if he is God?
Vs27 Everything is under Christ except God, because God put it there. God is over Christ.
Vs27 The words God and Christ could never be switched around!
This is a very powerful passage that clearly signifies Jesus is not God.
Vs28 God is in authority over Jesus the son, not the other way around and no equality. At the finish, judgment day,
Jesus will still be under God with no equality.
Vs28 Under God, Gods subject. God is above Jesus now, always has been and always will be.
It is not biblical, or any way logical, to be under God and also be God
Revelation 3:21 To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I
overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne.

Jesus has a throne and the Father has a throne, we sit on Jesus throne, and Jesus sits on his fathers throne, it is still Gods
throne.
The point is that we have to overcome otherwise we wont sit on the throne. In the same way Jesus had to overcome in
order to sit on the throne. If he has to achieve certain standards it implies he didnt have them before this time and
therefore cannot be God, God is already perfect.
If Jesus had not overcame he would not sit on the throne, how could this be so? Would we have a God the Father who is
perfect and a so called God the son who is not perfect?
Revelation 14:1 Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him
144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.
His name and his Fathers name. Both names written on the foreheads, Jesus and God, not Jesus who is God.
If the Trinity is true what about the name of the HS on the foreheads? Why no HS?
Summary:
Matthew 13
1 Corinthians 15
Revelation 3
Revelation 14

Jesus does not know when he is returning at the end of times, only the Father knows
The son hands the kingdom back to the Father at the end of times.
God put everything under Christ
Jesus had to overcome in order to sit on Gods throne
The name of the son and the Father are on the peoples foreheads

The Father is very different to the son, because of these statements, Jesus is not and cannot be God.
See section 38 When God and Jesus return in the future.
See section 39 Who does the judging

Part 8A Jesus human fathers

It is of extreme significance that Jesus has a human ancestry, that men were Jesus' fathers. God does not have fathers.
NKJV Mathew 1:1-2 The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son (G5207/huios) of David, the Son
(G5207/huios) of Abraham:
2
Abraham begot (G1080/Gennao) Isaac, Isaac begot (G1080/Gennao) Jacob, and Jacob begot
(G1080/Gennao) Judah and his brothers.
NIV 1 A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham
2 Abraham was the father (G1080/Gennao) of Isaac, Isaac the father (G1080/Gennao) of Jacob, Jacob the
father (G1080/Gennao) of Judah and his brothers,
Vs 1 Jesus is stated as being the son, G5207 huios, of David and Abraham. They are his earthly fathers
Vs1 Son of David indicates his royal origin. Son of Abraham indicates he was a Jew
Vs 2 Abraham G1080/Gennao Isaac.
Gennao signifies to beget or fathered rather that G3962/pater which is father; therefore in this verse, the NKJV and
KJV is more accurate than the NIV or ESV. It could also easily say "fathered" rather than "begot."
G3962 Pater first appears in the NT in Matthew 2:22 regarding Herod the father of Archelaus
NKJV Mathew 1:6 and Jesse begot David the king. David the king begot Solomon by her who had been
the wife of Uriah.
10
Hezekiah begot Manasseh, Manasseh begot Amon, and Amon begot Josiah.
11
Josiah begot Jeconiah and his brothers about the time they were carried away to Babylon.
15
Eliud begot Eleazar, Eleazar begot Matthan, and Matthan begot Jacob.
16
And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ.
Vs6 David fathered Solomon by Bathsheeba.

David had six sons by six wives, and possibly more, before Solomon.
The first son was Amnon of Ahinoam of Jezreel 2 Samuel 3:2, Amnon had sex with his sister and was killed.
The third son Absalom had his elder brother Amnon killed then fled to Geshur, later died in battle.
The fourth son was Adonijah of Haggith who tried to take the throne when David was dying.
Solomon was given the rights to the throne by David, thwarting Adonijah, he ruled from then onwards.
Vs16 Jacob begot or fathered Joseph. Scripture then says Joseph is the husband of Mary, rather than Joseph fathered
Jesus. Joseph is not Jesus biological immediate father.
We also have no record of Jesus referring to Joseph as his father, Jesus always said God was his father
Joseph may have fulfilled other definitions of being a father.
The human ancestry of Jesus goes back twenty eight generations to David (via his son Solomon from Uriahs wife,
Bathsheeba) and fourteen more to Abraham.
Luke 1:32-33 The Lord God will give him (Jesus) the throne of his father (H3962/Pater) David,
33
and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."
Jesus is given the throne of the kingdom by God, who once gave the same throne to David, Jesus ancestor and father.
Jacob who is also Jesus direct male ancestor (between Abraham and David) is also Jesus father. Mathew 1:1 says Jesus
is their son, Luke 1:32 says they are his fathers, all of this in a sense regarding genealogy
Luke 3:23-24 Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry. He was the son
(G5207,) so it was thought (G3543 Nomizo,) of Joseph, the son of Heli
24
the son of Matthat, the son of Levi, the son of Melki, the son of Jannai, the son of Joseph,

the son of Melea, the son of Menna, the son of Mattatha, the son of Nathan, the son (Bathsheeba his mother)
of David

B/ Joseph was a son by being adopted, or son in law by custom, because of marriage to Mary
Summary:
Mathew 1:1-2
Mathew 1:6
Luke 1:32-33
Luke 3:23-24

Jesus Christ the Son of David

Jesus is fathered by Abraham and by David and numerous others
Jacob is also the father of Jesus.
Jesus is "of" Mary, "of" David, "of" Abraham, "of" Adam, and "of" God.

The point I am making here is that all these men are Jesus' father in terms of genealogy. These men have Adam and then
God as their father in terms of genealogy, and therefore the same applies to Jesus.
Appendix:
Mathew says Jacob is Joseph's immediate father vs. Luke that says Heli.
The ancestry in Matthew 1 is David to Solomon. The ancestry in Luke 3 is David to Nathan
We know that Jesus was fathered by God through the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18).

One of the ancestrys have to be a blood line to Mary to rebuff any doubts regarding descending from Abraham and
David etc
Romans 1:3 Concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh
One of the ancestrys have to be from Solomon to transfer the rights of the King
Which is the real genealogy of Joseph, Matthew or Luke?
1/ Both Matthew and Luke.
A/ Levirate marriage in Matthew 1:15 (Mathaan marries Estha give birth to Jacob. Mathaan dies, Estha marries Matthat
and give birth to Eli) where Jacob and Heli are uterine brothers (same mother different fathers Mathaan and Matthat)
according to Sextus Julius Africanus.
(Or another variation according to Eusebius- Complicated but possible.)
Eli marries and then dies. His wife marries Jacob and give birth to Joseph.
Therefore both lines are of Joseph. Through Jacob physically, and through Eli by law.
Both lines are joined at Estha.
B/ Joseph had two fathers, his first father died and his mother married a cousin or an outsider
2/ Only Luke:
A/ Matthew is in place to appease Jewish custom.
B/ Matthew is in place to show how Jesus inherited the legal claim to the throne of David that was given to Solomon.
3/ Only Matthew: It is not Luke because
A/ So it was thought is from the Greek word G3543 Nomizo: To hold by custom or usage.
Which is the genealogy of Jesus through Mary?
1/ Neither Matthew or Luke:
Mary was of the blood line of David however it is not shown in the NT
2/ Matthew: It is not Matthew because
Matthew 1:10-11 begot Josiah. 11 Josiah begot Jeconiah G2423 or H3204
Jeremiah 22:18 Jehoiakim H3204 or G2423 son of Josiah king of Judah
24 Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim king of Judah
30 or none of his offspring will sit on the throne of David or rule anymore in Judah None from the line of Jehoiachin
from the line of the Kings of Judah will inherit the throne, therefore the ancestry in Matthew did not carry the lineage for
the King.
The wise men in Matthew 2:2 came looking for the new King of the Jews
The line of the King is reestablished by God at Bethlehem
3/ Luke
We know Mary was Jesus mother regarding genealogy, therefore Marys father was also Jesus father and all the way
back to David and Abraham (and further) were Jesus fathers regarding genealogy.
It is my estimate that one of the genealogies belongs to Mary in order to show that Jesus had blood ancestry to Abraham
and David, my best guess is that her ancestry is the one listed in Luke.
Whichever ancestry belongs to Mary also belongs to Jesus therefore Jesus has human ancestry and human fathers all the
way to David, then Adam then God.
Noticeably in both Matthew and Luke, neither of them use the term G3962 pater or father which is in the NT 414 times.
G3962 first appears in the NT in Matthew 2:22 and Luke 3 only has it in vs8 regarding peoples relationship to Abraham.

Part 8B Jesus human ancestry to God

The ancestry of Christ continues through his family line right up to Adam and then to God
If we take Luke as being Marys family line then each son is a son literally all the way to Adam son of God
Luke 9:26 For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when
he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father (G3962) and of the holy angels.

Is Jesus the son of man because Mary is his mother or because of his links with Ezekiel?
I currently think it is Jesus referring to having a human parent, Mary, and a human ancestry
Romans 9:4-5 the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption as sons; theirs the divine glory, the covenants, the
receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises.
5
Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is God over all, forever
praised! Amen
Vs5 The human ancestry of Christ is God over all. God is the ancestry that is over all.
Not Christ who is God over all.
Several translations are written in a way that it is possible to misunderstand that Christ is God over all, rather than the
ancestry is God overall.
If we say "the human ancestry of Abraham is God overall," it is easily understandable.
Christs human body is a descendent of God via Adam, Abraham and so forth or
From Christ via the Israelite patriarchs to God
This link is referring to the line down and through Mary rather than Joseph
Summary:
The human ancestry of Christ goes through Mary to David to Adam to God.

Part 9 Jesus calling God his father compared to the Pharisees having God as their father
The passages of Jesus arguing with the Pharisees can be confusing, here is an analysis.
John 5:17-20 Jesus said to them, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am
working."
18
For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was
even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
19
Jesus gave them this answer: "I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what
he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.
20
For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your amazement he will show him even
greater things than these.
Already in chapter 5 Jesus had healed the paralytic telling him to take up his matt and not sin anymore, the Pharisees
were annoyed because it is forbidden to work on the Sabbath.
Vs17 Jesus said God is my father, both the son and the Father are working therefore Jesus is not the Father.
Vs18 The Pharisees now had more reasons to want to kill Jesus.
1/ for breaking the Sabbath and
2/ the way he said that God was his own father which is blasphemy.
(In John 7:19-23 they want to kill him for breaking the Sabbath and in John 10:33-36 the Pharisees confirm they want to
kill him for blasphemy.)
Later in John 8:37-44 the Pharisees claim that God is their father and so we have a dilemma how was Jesus claim
different from their own claims? Why do the Pharisee consider Jesus claims blasphemy?
A/ Pharisees are claiming God is their father figuratively only.
B/ Pharisees are claiming God is their father as a descendant through Adam, through Abraham
C/ Pharisees are claiming God is their literal spiritual father as he causes all births
D/ Pharisees are claiming God is their spiritual father through their obedient relationship
The first option is not one to consider, therefore the Pharisees are claiming either
E1/ B&C
E2/ B&D

E3/ C&D
E4/ B&C&D
The Pharisees must have believed B&C&D
(B is confirmed in P3A-3C. C is confirmed in P2A-C. D is confirmed in P10D.)
How did Jesus exceed the Pharisees personal claims enough for them to want to kill him?
F/ Jesus claimed he was God
F is never claimed by Jesus
The Pharisees did not ever think that Jesus was claiming to be God!
G/ Jesus claimed to be Gods immediate son regarding genealogy before creation. This is confirmed by Colossians 1:15
& Hebrews 1:6 (Section 02B The NT Firstborn)
Section 2 How did Jesus become Jesus before creation
No other person could make this claim
H/ Jesus claimed to be Gods immediate son regarding genealogy at Bethlehem
H is confirmed by Mathew 1:18-20
Adam could have made this claim as neither had an earthly father
The Pharisees could have wanted to kill Jesus for either G or H. The answer is G/ confirmed in Vs19 in that Jesus saw
God his father doing certain things and then copied him. So it because Jesus claimed to be Gods immediate son before
and/or outside of physical creation that the Pharisees wanted to kill him.
The Pharisees projected their unbiblical belief, that a human son is equal to a human father in some ways, onto Jesus.
Jesus claimed to already be a divine son, which the Pharisees were not but which we, the sheep, will also be after
Judgment day, 2 Peter 1:4
Vs19 Jesus continues to confirm that he can do nothing without his father, these things he has seen.
The father would not say he could do nothing without the son because God can do anything.
Vs20 The father shows the son all he does, it could not be the other way around, no equality here.
Jesus is not God if he needs to be shown anything by his father
Jesus is not God if he could be shown greater things, God knows all the greater things already.
John 8:17-44 In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two men is valid.
18 I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me.
19
Then they asked him, "Where is your father?" "You do not know me or my Father," Jesus replied. "If you
knew me, you would know my Father also."
23
But he continued, "You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.
27
They did not understand that he was telling them about his Father.
36
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
37
I know you are Abraham's descendants. Yet you are ready to kill me, because you have no room for my
word.
38
I am telling you what I have seen in the Father's presence, and you do what you have heard from your father."
It is better to read from the beginning and all of John chapter 8 to appreciate the buildup of Jesus claims regarding God
as his father.
Vs19 Where is your father is a direct question and Jesus gives a direct answer
Vs23-27 Jesus tells them that God is his immediate and only father.
They have God as their father and creator and also an earthly immediate father.
Jesus has God as his father and creator, but he has no earthly immediate father
Jesus earthly ancestral fathers start from Marys father. I am not of this world tells us that Jesus was alive as Gods son
before he came to Bethlehem
Vs36 Jesus is in a position above the Pharisees in a place where he can free them from slavery
Vs37 Jesus agrees that the Pharisees are Abrahams descendents, then questions their intent to kill him

Vs38 Jesus explains what he has heard in the Fathers (Gods) presence, letting them know that he has personally spent
time with God his father. He then states that they do what they have heard from their father (probably implying Satan as
per vs44)
39

"Abraham is our father," they answered. "If you were Abraham's children," said Jesus, "then you would
do the things Abraham did.
40
As it is, you are determined to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham
did not do such things.
41
You are doing the things your own father does." "We are not illegitimate children," they protested. "The
only Father we have is God himself."
42
Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here.
I
have not come on my own; but he sent me.
43
Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say.
44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from
the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native
language, for
he is a liar and the father of lies.
Vs39 The Pharisees confirm that Abraham is their father.
Jesus having confirmed they are sons of Abraham ( a father as an ancestor) in vs37 now says they dont behave as
Abraham did and a true son would.
Behavior is part of being a son and a father see P10D
Vs40 Jesus heard the truth from God.
To say Jesus is God is to say God heard the truth from God!
Vs41 The Pharisees understood correctly that to be legitimate sons of God, besides genealogy they had to behave a
certain way.
Vs42 A true son of God should love Jesus
I came from God is not a statement God would make
Vs43 Despite being extremely clear in his language, the Pharisees could not understand what Jesus said. This is exactly
the same for those who say Jesus is God when Jesus clearly says he is not, in this chapter!
Vs44 Jesus accuses the Pharisees of being adopted sons of Satan because they choose to follow the sinful nature as
Satan does
Satan is the father of lies because there was only truth until Satan began lying
John 10:29-36 29My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of
my Father's hand.
30
I and the Father are one."
31
Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him,
32
but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you
stone me?"
33
"We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man,
claim to be God."
34
Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are gods G2316 Theos '?
35
If he called them 'gods G2316 Theos,' to whom the word of God G2316 Theos cameand the Scripture
cannot be broken
36
what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you
accuse me of blasphemy because I said, 'I am God's Son'? (G5207 Huios G2316 Theos)
Vs29 Jesus says his father is greater than all, no equality here.
If Jesus is God why not say I am greater than all or we are greater than all?
Vs30 Jesus says I and the father are one in the same way as disciples are one with one another in thoughts and actions
(Section 23B We are one, they are one) John 17:22-24
Vs32 Miracles from the Father. Jesus needed God to help him do miracles. God needs no help.
Vs33 John 9:16 confirms the day was a Sabbath. The Jews state that they are not stoning Jesus for doing miracles on a
Sabbath but for blasphemy, they incorrectly thought Jesus claimed to be God

Vs34 Jesus quotes Psalm 82:6 in order to make the Jews stop and think.
From our point of view, do we read Psalm 82:6 and believe human beings were God? No.
Vs36 Jesus gets back again to the root of his statement, repeating who he is, and questions why they want to kill him
because he claimed to be Gods son.
Jesus has been telling the Jews that he is a son of God in a different way than the Jews are. He says that God is a father
to him in a different way than God is to the Jews.
Jesus is Gods immediate son, God is his immediate father both before creation and at Bethlehem.
The Jews knew they were sons of God regarding genealogy but also incorrectly thought through their behavior was the
right way.
Summary:
John 5:17
John 5:20

John 8:23
John 8:42
John 10:36

Jesus claimed to be Gods immediate son before creation that the Pharisees wanted to kill him.
The Father shows the Son all he does, it could not be the other way around, no equality here.
Jesus is not God if he needs to be shown anything by his father
Jesus is not God if he could be shown greater things, God knows all the greater things already
I am not of this world indicates Jesus was alive as God's son before he came to Bethlehem
If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God
This is not a statement God would make
what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world?
Jesus is Gods immediate son, God is his immediate father both before creation and at Bethlehem.
Jesus never said that he was God, as these people had mistakenly understood.

Jesus explains the difference between to the Pharisees the difference between him being a Son of God and their position
and mixed understandings.

Part 10A The Adoption as Sons

Definitions:
Adoption Strongs: adoption, adoption as sons
a) that relationship which God was pleased to establish between himself and the Israelites in preference to all other
nations
b) the nature and condition of the true disciples in Christ, who by receiving the Spirit of God into their souls become
sons of God
c) the blessed state looked for in the future life after the visible return of Christ from heaven
Adoption Dictionary:
A/ The act of accepting with approval; favorable reception
B/ A legal proceeding that creates a parent-child relation between persons not related by blood; the adopted child is
entitled to all privileges belonging to a natural child of the adoptive parents (including the right to
inherit)
The entire definition from Strongs describes adoption as a process between God and people, a process that can be
fulfilled by God who is already the father of all people in that he gave them all life.
Part A from the dictionary happens at baptism and on judgment day,
part B from the dictionary is solved by Christs sacrifice on the cross (we are also related by blood as
God created
our blood).
So based on the three parts of Strongs definition along with parts A and B from the dictionary, it is clearly possible for
God as the literal father to adopt his sons. We are currently in Gods process of adoption as
sons.
When we are born, we are without sin and should we die in childbirth we would go back to our heavenly father and onto
heaven after judgment day. If we live however, we grow and begin to sin and are separated
from God, we then
conform to Jesus likeness and once baptized we rejoin the family again as sons and
daughters. We are adopted!
Now we will see how scripture supports this theory
John 1:12-13 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become
children of God

13

children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

Vs12 Through our belief in Jesus, Jesus gives us the right to complete the process of being children of God
Vs13 We are children of God by natural descent through Adam the first son of God who is our distant father. Also
because God causes each individual birth.
We are becoming complete sons of God when we receive Christ into our life and believe in his name. This is shown by
our faith, our decision to repent and be baptized and receive the HS and become disciples of Christ

Ephesians 1:4-5 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In
love, 5 he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will
Vs4 Before creation God chose all people to become holy and blameless through Jesus Christ
God wants all people to be saved 1 Timothy 2:4
Vs5 We become sons of God through Christs blood?
Vs5 God predestined us all to be saved through Christ, however many of us chose otherwise
ESV Romans 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have
received the Spirit of adoption (G5206 hweothesea-adoption) as sons, by whom we cry, Abba! Father!
We receive the holy spirit of God at baptism to become true sons of God although the process is not completed until
judgment day.
Luke 11:11-13 Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?
12
Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
13
If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your
Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"
Vs13 We are born with God as our heavenly spiritual father regarding genealogy and are his sons in that way, however
when we repent and come back into the family at baptism we receive the spirit of God from the outpouring Acts 2:38!
Confirmed below in Romans 9:8
Romans 8:22-25 22We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right
up to the present time.
23
Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly
for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
24
For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has?
25
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
Vs22
Vs23 We who have received the first-fruits of the spirit (from the outpouring at Pentecost) wait for our adoption as sons
which will fully happen on judgment day. This reveals that although we are sons, we are not fully adopted sons
Vs24-25 We are still waiting and hoping for what we dont yet have, our full adoption.
Romans 9:4-8 For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my
brothers, those of my own race, 4 the people of Israel. Theirs is the adoption as sons; theirs the divine
glory,
the covenants, the receiving of the law, the temple worship and the promises.
5 Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is God over all,
forever
praised! Amen.
6 It is not as though Gods word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.
7 Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abrahams children. On the contrary, It is through Isaac
that your offspring will be reckoned.
8 In other words, it is not the natural children who are Gods children, but it is the children of the promise
who are regarded as Abrahams offspring.

Vs3 Paul lamenting for the Jews that they won't accept Christ
Vs4 The people of Israel are the chosen nation to be adopted as sons by God
Vs5 The patriarchs including Abraham have an ancestry that leads backwards to Adam and then God. Going forwards
the ancestry goes from Abraham to Christ.
Therefore Christs human ancestry is to God.
Vs6 Not all sons are truly sons, not all who should be chosen are chosen.
Vs7 Not all descendants of Abraham are considered his true children
Only the sons of Isaac through Jacob are the true descendants and children of God
This excludes any descendants of Ishmael
Isaac came back from the dead so to speak, just as we do at baptism, so to speak
Vs8 The Jews are not children of God through the blood line of Abraham but through Gods promise
This also explains that anyone not a descendant of Abraham can also accept the promise
The children of the promise are those that have been baptized into Christ
Romans 4:16-17 Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed
to all Abraham's offspringnot only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of
Abraham. He is the father of us all.
17
As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in
whom
he believedthe God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.
Vs16 To be regarded as true children, which comes by the promise from God Romans 9:8, we have to have faith,
Abraham is the father of Jew and Gentile
Vs17 God says Abraham is our father (See P3A) even though he may not be our ancestor!
Galatians 3:26 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus,
27
for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
29
If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Vs26 We are sons of God through faith in Christ,
Vs27 We expressed our faith through repentance and baptism etc
Vs28 We are all now part of the body of Christ
Vs29 We belong to Christ, we are Abrahams offspring in the faith, we are heirs with him.
Galatians 4:1-7 What I am saying is that as long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a slave,
although he owns the whole estate.
2
He is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father.
3
So also, when we were children, we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world.
4
But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law,
5
to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons.
6
Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba,
7
So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.

Father."

Vs1 Every human being on the planet has the potential to be a complete son and heir of eternal life
Vs2 Human parents are our guardians until we make our own choices to come to our real heavenly father
Vs3 We were adults yet we were children until we came to ChristVs4 At the correct time we were offered a chance to
repent, because of Christs action
Vs5 Although we are sons in that we were given life by the Father we dont have the full rights of sons until we have
Jesus fully in our life (see Galatians 3:26-29).
Even at that point we still dont fully have what we hope for, heaven and eternal life until judgment day.
Vs6
Vs7 Now they are complete sons and complete heirs, to be confirmed on Judgment day

Hebrews 12:6-9 because the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."
7
Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father?
8
If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not
true sons.
9
Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more
should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live!
Vs6 God disciplines and accepts his children, meaning he may also not accept them
Vs7
Vs8 A true son is a disciplined son. Without discipline we are illegitimate sons!
Illegitimate: One born not in lawful wedlock!
If we dont endure the discipline then our relationship is void
Although we are sons of God in that God created us, we may not be worthy to hold the title of a son, much like the
discussion of the prodigal son with his father in Luke 15:21
Summary:
John 1:12-13
Ephesians 1:4-5
Romans 8:15
Romans 8:23
Romans 9:8
Romans 4:17
Galatians 3:26
Galatians 4:5
Hebrews 12:8

Jesus gives us the right to complete the process of being children of God
God predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ
We receive the spirit of adoption when God gives us the HS at our baptism
We wait eagerly to complete our adoption as sons on judgment day
We, the children of the promise are Abrahams descendants (who are heirs to the promise)
God says Abraham is our father even though he may not be our ancestor!
We are sons of God through faith in Christ.
We are receiving the full rights as sons
We have to endure discipline from God otherwise we are illegitimate

Being a son of God is a process with the main points being

A/ Initially being given life by God our Father who is the cause of each individual life
B/ Choosing to repent from sin, having faith in, and acknowledging God and Christ (at baptism)
C/ The blood of Christs death is the sacrifice for our forgiveness
D/ Being continually refined, disciplined and transformed into Christs likeness (currently)
E/ Gods grace and confirmation on judgment day finalizes our adoption as sons
Is being God the Father also a process? No.
God is perfect and is therefore the complete and perfect Father to all of us, it is our sins that have separated us from God,
plus we have to complete the process to be complete sons. He is our Father, we are completing the process of being his
sons
Isaiah 10:22 For though your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will return.

Part 10B The role of a father

Luke 3:21 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying,
heaven
was opened
22
and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "You
are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased."
God said, you are my son.
God told everyone that he loved his son and he was well pleased with him, possibly to encourage Jesus and reward him
by confirming Jesus had done well so far?
Encouragement, approval, confirmation,
Ephesians 3:14-15 For this reason I kneel before the Father,
15
from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name.

Vs15 Gods whole family in heaven

Vs15 Gods whole family on the earth
Jesus is a part of the family in heaven, we will be part of it if we get there.
Why would Jesus kneel before God if he is God or equal to God?
Jesus role as a son is to offer respect to his father
Ephesians 6:4 Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and
instruction of the Lord.
Fathers train their children with biblical instruction.
A father teaches a son.
Jesus constantly said the words were not his own and he had learnt them from his father.
Jesus cannot be God if he needs to be taught anything.
Hebrews 12:6-10 because the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."
10
Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that
we may share in his holiness.
Vs6 God disciplined and punished his son, specifically at the cross.
God did not discipline and punish God
Vs7 The role of a father is to discipline their sons
Vs8 Without discipline we are not true sons, we are illegitimate!
Vs9 Human fathers discipline their children and receive respect in return along with submission
Vs10 Fathers discipline children for their own good
Summary:
Luke 3:21
Ephesians 3:14-15
Ephesians 6:4
Hebrews 12:6-10

You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased."

Encouragement, approval, confirmation,
Jesus role as a son is to offer respect to his father
Jesus constantly said the words were not his own and he had learnt them from his father.
Jesus cannot be God if he needs to be taught anything.
God disciplined and punished his son, specifically at the cross.

God did not discipline and punish God

Jesus called God Father more than any other title. When he called God by this name he was among other things
recognizing that God the Father was his creator.

Part 10C Abba Father

Gerhard Kittel vol 5 P985 An everyday infant sound is applied without inhibition to God. To Jewish sensibility this is
too familiar. For Jesus it is the simplest and sincerest conceivable term to express Gods attitude and it also implies a
rejection of all religious pretension.
Mark 13:36 "Abba, Father," he said, "everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what
will, but what you will."
Why if Jesus is God would he talk in this way? Why would God say abba?
Why is everything possible for the father and not the son?
Why do they have different wills?

This passage makes no sense if we try to say Jesus is God. God would not make this statement
Romans 8:15 For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of
sonship G5206 huiothesia . And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."
G5206 Adoption
We as disciples are becoming adopted then we cry Abba Father
Galatians 4:6 Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out,
"Abba, Father."
7
So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.
Jesus spirit is different from the Fathers spirit
Jesus is a spirit who like us says Abba Father
We like Jesus say Abba father, we are not a slave, we are a son, we are an heir.
God does not say these things, therefore Jesus is not God
Conclusion:
Abba is in the NT three times and is always written with the word Father
Mark 13:36 Jesus says Abba Father in his time of stress before going to the cross
Romans 8:15 We as disciples becoming adopted cry Abba Father
Galatians 4:6 We like Jesus say Abba Father, we are not a slave, we are a son, we are an heir.
It is interesting that we are told to call God "Abba Father" the same as Jesus did.
Are we to say there is a difference in meaning when Jesus says it when compared to when we say it?

Part 10D Other

Mathew 11:27 No one knows the son except the father, and no one knows the father except the son and those to
whom the son chooses to reveal him.
The son chooses to reveal people to the father, showing there is a difference between father and son.
What would happen if the son did not reveal something to the father?
If Jesus chooses, then he has a choice and an option.
If the Trinity doctrine is correct then how come the HS is not included in this knowing each other scripture?
Mathew 23:8-10 But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all
brothers.
9
And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.
10
Nor are you to be called 'teacher,' for you have one Teacher, the Christ.
Vs8 Despite Jesus teaching the crowds that people are not to be called Rabbi or master, people are called Rabbi,
people have earthly masters, and all the men were not physical brothers.
Vs9 We also call people on earth father, (Elsewhere God tells Moses that Abraham is his father)
Vs10 we all are taught by teachers!
The point here is that only God is our Father, it doesnt even give an exception for our immediate and closest father
therefore it seems that God is more of a father to us than anyone.
Summary:
Matthew 11:27
Matthew 23:8-10

The Trinity doctrine is not correct if the HS does not know the son
This eliminates the possibility that the son is the father

God the Father puts everything in position for the son.

Because of who Jesus is, he needs to have all things committed to him, he needs the kingdom to be
conferred on him, he needs God's approval and he needs to be granted authority. All of these things he did
not have at some point.

John 6:38

God's will holds power over the will of Jesus.

Jesus does that which pleases his Father
Jesus chose to do the will of another

Both Jesus and the Father have different wills.

Part 6C John 12
John 14

Part 6D John 10:28-30 Jesus says the Father is greater than he is.
John 14:28 Jesus again says the Father is greater than he is.
God cannot be less than something or someone
Part 6E John 20
Jesus returned to his Father his God, the one God.
1 Corinthians 8
Yet for us there is one God, the Father. One God the Father.
Galatians 1
From Jesus Christ and God the Father
If Paul thought Jesus was God he would have said so.
Only the Father is God and for these reasons Jesus is not God
Both Jesus and Paul tell us that only the Father is God.
Neither of them say that Jesus is God
Part 7A Matthew 17 God calls Jesus his son implying ownership or belonging
Matthew 18 Jesus calls God, my Father. The Father answers prayers
Luke 2
Jesus was in his Father's house, not in his own house
John 5
Jesus came in his Father's name
God the Father AND Jesus worked together in Jesus early earthly life
Part 7B Luke 22 Jesus asked God the Father for a way out of dying, then submitted. Was strengthened by an angel
Luke 23
Jesus committed his spirit to his Father
John 12
Jesus nearly asked God the Father to save him from death
John 20
Jesus says my Father and my God
God does not need to be saved.
God does not commit his spirit to another.
God is eternal and cannot die.
God is not separate from God.
God does not have a God.

Part 7C Matthew 13
1 Corinthians 15

Jesus does not know when he is returning at the end of times, only the Father knows
The son hands the kingdom back to the Father at the end of times.
God put everything under Christ
Revelation 3
Jesus had to overcome in order to sit on Gods throne
Revelation 14
The name of the son and the Father are on the peoples foreheads
The Father is very different to the son, because of these statements, Jesus is not and cannot be God.

Part 8A Mathew 1:1-2

These men have
Adam and then God as their father in terms of genealogy, and therefore the same applies to Jesus.
Part 8B The human ancestry of Christ goes through Mary to David to Adam to God.
Part 9 John 5:17 Jesus claimed to be Gods immediate son before creation that the Pharisees wanted to kill him.
John 5:20 The Father shows the Son all he does, it could not be the other way around, no equality here.
Jesus is not God if he needs to be shown anything by his father
Jesus is not God if he could be shown greater things, God knows all the greater things already
John 8:23 I am not of this world indicates Jesus was alive as God's son before he came to Bethlehem
John 8:42 If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God
This is not a statement God would make
John 10:36 What about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world?
Jesus is Gods immediate son, God is his immediate father both before creation and at Bethlehem.
Jesus never said that he was God, as these people had mistakenly understood.
Jesus explains the difference between to the Pharisees the difference between him being a Son of God and
their position and mixed understandings.
Part 10A Being a son of God is a process with the main points being
A/ Initially being given life by God our Father who is the cause of each individual life
B/ Choosing to repent from sin, having faith in, and acknowledging God and Christ (at baptism)
C/ The blood of Christs death is the sacrifice for our forgiveness
D/ Being continually refined, disciplined and transformed into Christs likeness (currently)
E/ Gods grace and confirmation on judgment day finalizes our adoption as sons
Is being God the Father also a process? No.
God is perfect and is therefore the complete and perfect Father to all of us, it is our sins that have separated
us from God, plus we have to complete the process to be complete sons. He is our Father, we are completing the
process of being his sons
Part 10B Luke 3:21

You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased."

Encouragement, approval, confirmation,
Ephesians 3:14-15
Jesus role as a son is to offer respect to his father
Ephesians 6:4 Jesus constantly said the words were not his own and he had learnt them from his father.
Jesus cannot be God if he needs to be taught anything.
Hebrews 12:6-10 God disciplined and punished his son, specifically at the cross.
God did not discipline and punish God
Jesus called God Father more than any other title. When he called God by this name he was among other
things recognizing that God the Father was his creator.

Part 10C Abba is in the NT three times and is always written with the word Father
Part 10D Matthew 11:27
Matthew 23:8-10

The Trinity doctrine is not correct if the HS does not know the son
This eliminates the possibility that the son is the father

Final Conclusion:
God put everything in position for the Son, both Jesus and the Father have different wills, Jesus' words are not his own,
he learned them from another. God did not learn them from another. Both Jesus and Paul tell us that only the Father is
God. God does not need to be saved. God does not commit his spirit to another. God is eternal and cannot die. God is
not separate from God. God does not have a God.
God is Jesus literal Father regarding genealogy according to these scriptures, therefore Jesus is not biblically God.

Appendix:
God was not called father as a name until Jesus said to do it in the NT, why? God was always a father to us regarding
genealogy, however we only call him father once we are adopted as sons at baptism.
Are we all spiritual beings who have to go through an earthly process to fully complete father son relationship?
It seems that there are two main senses of being a father
A/ The sense of a masculine being, without who another living beings life would never have begun
B/ An agreement from the so called father and the so called son to use these names for each other, the title and position
of honor that comes through actions,
God fulfills both senses fully and completely both scripturally and that of dictionary definitions. God is literally our
father, and the Father in every literal sense of the word.
