I am interested in applying for the Strategy Analyst Intern position which was advertised
on your website. Given my educational and extracurricular background at Wake Forest
University, I am confident that my knowledge and skills are well suited to the internship.
As I continue to grow as a student and transition to the professional world, I am
enthusiastic about the opportunity to challenge myself to further explore an industry that I
have been intrigued by since my freshman year in high school.
As a prospective finance major and statistics minor, I have had extensive coursework and
outside experience that would be vital to success in this position. During my time at Wake
Forest, I have completed courses in a variety of a disciplines, including economics,
accounting, mathematics, and Spanish. Outside of the classroom, I have demonstrated
leadership experience through my work as a student adviser, in which I have formed
mentoring connections with a small group of freshmen students. Additionally, my affinity
for work with financial matters is reflected through my previous work with Heifer
International, in which I helped to raise over $1000 to purchase farm animals for
donation to impoverished families from a multitude of countries. More recently, I was
appointed treasurer of the newly formed French Club at Wake Forest, where I work with
the Student Government to secure funds for the organization.
