Academic Reflection

Course Title: Geometry 2
Grade Level: 12
In this assignment I was asked to complete the terms and the word problems. I reviewed
about Angles and different types of formulas and theorems, I also reviewed about the area
and volume of different shapes.
Examine: To complete this assignment I read directions and went over the questions I
reviewed notes that I took from prior assignments. While working on this study guide I
used my text book to help me find the definitions of the terms. If I could not find
something in the book I searched online to find a video of an example or used a
dictionary. I also used scratch paper to work out the problems. It was challenging to do
this because math has always been tough for me but what was satisfying about this
process is I learned how to work independently on it. I learned that I need things to be
explained step by step to help me understand.
Extend: One thing I am proud of is that I worked hard and worked out my problems and
got an A. One thing I would like to improve is my math skills, by taking more notes or
paying more attention.
Connect: This academic piece helped me prepare myself for college because Computer
Science has a lot of math included. With this piece I learned how to take notes and work
out the problems.
