Enrollment Advisor
Advise undergrad and post graduate-degree seeking students on academic and finance plans according to
federal regulations and funding guidelines beginning with the admissions process to graduation
Responsible for advising undergraduate and graduate students regarding enrollment and degree completion
requirements
Provide effective communication with potential and/or current students via telephone, email, and/or in
person
Assist students in making informed decisions by providing ethical, timely, accurate, and comprehensive
title IV funding options and program information
Assist potential and/or current students in understanding their financial obligations
Utilize critical thinking and problem solving skills to address and resolve student issues and ensure positive
student experience
Conducted personal interviews in person and over the phone to qualify candidates and to explain academic
and financial aid programs
Assessed prospective students to ensure they have the potential, traits, characteristics and financial ability to
be enrolled through graduation
Clerical duties included but not limited to, maintaining and updating student confidential records, data entry
for computer based files, handling phone calls with regard to company policy, as well as ensure the flow of
prospective students to actual enrolment
Administrative duties included ensuring all proper documentation was collected within strict deadlines as
well as input constant updates in company database system
Worked closely with eligible students throughout the enrollment process ensuring that all requirements were
satisfied and assisted in retaining any documentation needed related to federal funding
Generated numerous respondent letters to send to applicants on status of their progress. Followed up and
tracked current and prospective students to maintain motivation and ensure they were following through
with any additional documentation continuously requested
Promoted from Admissions Assistant to Enrollment Representative within six months of employment
Listed as Top Advisor for the Fall 2006 session at Clarita Career College
Nominated and awarded New Comer of the year at DeVry University for work performance December 2009
Achieved a "Class" award for exceeding expected results at DeVry University April 2008
Nominated and Awarded Excellent Customer Service Award January 2012
Highlighted throughout the past year (2012-present) for customer satisfaction survey responses, corporate
leadership acknowledgement, as well as from peers and direct management team
Nominated and chosen to be a candidate for career progression for the role of senior level advisor
