LCSO Investigates Reported Sexual Battery of

Stranded Motorist on Gleedsville Road

Loudoun County, VA: The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is

investigating a reported sexual battery that occurred around 7 p.m.
Wednesday, March 24, 2010 in the Leesburg, VA area.

The victim, a 38-year-old Leesburg female, reported she was

riding in a vehicle with a family member in the area of Gleedsville Road
and Woodside Place when the vehicle became disabled. The victim
decided to walk to get assistance.

As she was walking along the road a dark colored pick-up truck
with West Virginia tags approached her and two men inside offered her
a ride. The victim accepted the offer and got into the vehicle with the
subjects. Inside the vehicle, one of the men inappropriately touched
the victim. She fought off the man who then physically assaulted her.
She then exited the vehicle.

The subjects are described as White males both in their late 20’s.
The male passenger was said to have a thin build and was wearing a
white shirt and white baseball hat. The driver was wearing a dark
colored t-shirt and had medium length sandy colored hair.

The victim was later picked up by her family member after they
were able to get the vehicle started. Deputies were notified of the
incident around 7:55 p.m. as the victim was driving to the Cornwall
Campus of INOVA Loudoun Hospital. She was treated for minor injuries.
The area of the reported assault was searched but no vehicle matching
the description of the suspect vehicle was located.

A VLEPSC accredited law enforcement agency.
