Definition of an audience profile
Characteristics of those who read, view, or listen to a given medium such as a
television channel or a magazine. A profile generally contains economic
information, income, home ownership, and buying patterns.

Characteristics of a population. Race, ethnicity, gender, age,
education, profession, job, income and marital status.
