Sexually Transmitted Infections
Everywhere around the world, I believe that there are some kind of reasons why STDs or
STIs could be caused by. Normally, STDs happen when they are passed around person to
person during sexual intercourse without using protection.
Those infections are most efficiently transmitted by anal or vaginal intercourse. Some
STD infections are transmitted by parenteral routes particularly among drug users who
contaminate drug equipment. Sometimes pregnant women with STIs may pass it along to their
infants right in the uterus. Sometimes infants can be born with an STI if the mom has it which is
passed along to the baby.
Through the health consequences of STIs is that the population isnt aware of STDs.
STDs are most likely hidden from public. The reason why people here in the U.S. have a high
rate of STIs is because it was most likely passed along person to person during sexual
intercourse without using protection and sometimes some people were born with STIs but it can
recently be common about why it would happen that way.
From what Ive learned from my own role of education from preventing STIs, I always
learned that you could use abstinence or if you feel like youre going to go have sex with
someone, you can do it, but do it carefully by using double protection like birth control and

condoms. For women who use birth control, it can protect them from getting pregnant but it
wont protect them from getting an STI without using a condom. If you start to feel like youre
ready to have sex without using protection, it would always be important to make sure that that
person gets itself checked out to make sure that he/she is clean.
Even if you were to have an STI, some of them can be curable and some of them arent
curable at all. For the ones that arent curable, those could be the kind of STIs that you could
have for the rest of your life. Some STDs can be deadly which can cause people to die from.
Some of the most deadliest that have killed people is cervical cancer, AIDS, and hepatitis
B. Most people who have syphilis, genital herpes, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and trichomaniasis are
most likely to increase a risk of an HIV infection. From this saying about STDs, it said, STDs
are almost always transmitted from person to person by sexual intercourse.
