Unit 3 Essay 2

Have you ever thought of changing the way your lifestyle and making it more
productive in a way that will be more modern and developed? The Industrial
Revolution was a time in history that transmitted new manufacture processes. It
happened between the 18th and 19th centuries when rural societies in Europe and
America became industrial and urban. There where big changes that led to the
Industrial Revolution. The industrial revolution brought the invention of machine to
do work of hand tools; the use of steam, and later of other kinds of power, in place

and canals. It set up the worlds first rail road line, helped businesss , and created
thousands of jobs.
One way that industrial revolution changed the living conditions and life
styles was the families went from working on farms to working in factories. Living

conditions were poor, diseases, overcrowded, no laws, no trash, and the people
would throw stuff out the window causing all these diseases and deaths. The
importance of the railroads in the growth of the cities in Europe and the United
States was the roads and railroads were moving goods more efficiently. Railroad
