WORK: Whats Gods Got to Do With It?

Looking Back on Money, Money, Money
I have attached a copy of the Looking Back Bible Study Guide for your
convenience.
As an ice breaker related to the message, consider these two questions, one
after the other. The first should be fairly quick, the last one perhaps longer.
Describe a time this last week when you had an emotional reaction
(positive or negatively) to something related to money?
If you won the lottery, what things would you be sure to do first with
your money- and your life?
Good moment to pause for opening prayer after this ice breaker ask for
two or three people to praywith you or another closing.
Could kick things off again after prayer by asking,
Knowing that we were going to discuss MONEY, MONEY, MONEY,
what were you thinking or feeling about being here tonight?
Then,
What do you think we should discuss together tonight regarding this
topic?
Then,
If needed, check out the Working it Out section of the Bible Study
Guide for other meaningful questions.
Thanks again for you labor and love!

LOOKING BACK
WORK: Whats God Got To Do With It?

Money, Money, Money!

OK. Should I remind us of James 1:22, Prove yourselves to be doers of the word, not
merely hearers who delude themselves. Is there another subject that can delude us more
than money? Simply hearing about money, no matter how many Scripture was used,
wont do us any good unless we figure out what to do about it.

Thinking It Through (agree/disagree/consider/contemplate)

Riches enlarge rather than satisfy appetites.

~Thomas Fuller

Never has a people expected so much more than the world can offer.
~Unknown

It is difficult to save money when your neighbors keep buying things you
cant afford.

Working It Out
1. If you were asked, What is the one thing that would improve your life
the most? what would you say and why? Be honest now.

2. What money attitude adjustment is probably most needed in your

life?

3. How does learning more about what God says about money help you
with your workplace environment?
