The meanings of make and do are similar, but we use them with different words:
Do: do housework, do a job, do homework, do your best.
Make: make a cup of coffee, make money, make a phone call.

verbs that indicate you don't like something: don't/doesn't like, hate, can't stand.
verbs of preference can be followed by: a noun: i can't stand hot dogs.
verb + -ing: i love shopping.
too +verb: i prefer to shop online.
