Louis W. Barrett Jr., 20, of Red Lake, was pronounced dead at North Country Regional Hospital after the shooting. The Minneapolis FBI office said tribal police officers apparently shot Barrett while they were serving a search warrant at a Circle Pines area residence in the Little Rock District of the northern Minnesota reservation.
