1. Moratorium is upheld with exception of areas where shale gas
exploration and development is already undertaken

- Motion is not passed at this point with only 5 votes
2. Adding to above (1), regional moratoriums (pause of further
development) should be in place in areas of exploration and
development occurring for a short period until a document is created
to confirm safe development. Additional Info: Continue with further
development if it is in rural areas and not near water, cities, dwellings,
aquifers, or First Nations (without consultation) for research purposes.

3. All stake holder council to explore and establish exclusion zones, ban
areas, and moratoriums in shale gas development.

4.The moratorium will remain in place for research purposes in current
areas of exploration and can continue so long as it follows heavily
placed regulations. The New Brunswick Energy Institute will continue
to research during the moratorium and form a document that lies out
areas for development, regional moratoriums, and potential bans.

5. Amended of (4): Creation of a council that is seated and represented
by all stakeholders, not to replace NB Energy Institute, but instead to
see regulations.

6. Creation of a royal commission on production of shale gas. It would
consult with government on different proposals regarding shale gas.
Moratorium will remain in place. Also continue exploration with further
research in areas far removed from lakes and cities.
