Instructional Materials • Per Capita Funding for a school with an immersion magnet program are the same even though materials have to be bought in two languages and therefore cannot be shared. • Further reductions in instructional materials unfairly penalize home school children who are not benefiting from an immersion education. Staffing Reductions • Staff is stretched to the brink. • Full time Media Assistants are linked to higher test scores. Media assistant currently holds multiple duties • Special programs require support.
