India's Best Institute for IES, GATE & PSUs New in GATE-2016 ‘An online virtual calculator will be available to examinees at the time of examination. No physical calculator will be allowed. The online virtual calculator will be put on GATE 2016 website for practice before the examination. After the completion of GATE 2016 examination, all answer keys will be made available. In case of any discrepancies/wrong keys, answer keys may be challenged by paying anominalfee. Anew paper Petroleum Engineering (PE) isintroduced in GATE-2016. The entire process of filing up of application form, uploading of certificates/documents etc. will be strictly online. All the papersin GATE-2016 will be conducted by an ONLINE Computer Based Test (CBT). The online examination will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) where right answer out of four options should be selected and for Numerical Answer Type Questions (NAT), numerical answers should be entered by the candidate using the virtual keypad.
