I am Mj Briones, 17 years old and presently a 2nd year Nursing student of

Aklan Polytechnic College. Being a nursing student had made my outlook in life
brighten but being a Christian has made my life more meaningful
I am a product of a broken home but I am not ashamed to let the whole
world know. My parents took separate ways before I celebrated my 5th birthday.
Together with my brother and a sister we were left in the care of our mom and
dad (thats how we call our grandparents), who cared, loved, nurtures and give
us the proper education.
I am proud of my humble beginning. I want to let you know that being a
product of a broken home is not a deterrent to ones outlook and success in life.
It has become a challenge to me, it has instilled in my mind a determination to
be different. Being young, today, I revolve to be unaffected; because I know my
spiritual belief will bring me and help me attain my life dreams and desires. I
also know that God in His infinite goodness will not fail me. I am receiving the
fullness of Gods love and richness of his blessings.
I started my rendezvous with our Creator at a very young age. Aside from
going to church on Sundays, I join other religious activity in our place.
I joined a youth camp when I was in Grade 6 There I had the experience of
praising the Lord in a group. Socializing, Knowing God, Keeping to heart his
teachings and miracles done, has opened my eyes to the wonders of Gods
powers. It has amazed me and young as I was then. I decided that when I grow
up, Ill give my share in my own little way to help people. The reason why I want
to pursue a life of taking care of the old, nurturing the sick and the dying and
defying day and night in the service of easing peoples pain.
This is me, a young little girl with big hopes and probably unreachable dreams,
and a big heart to serve God by way of serving his flock.
I know I still have a long way in my journey to my chosen profession but with
Gods grace, guidance and protection, how could I fail?
It is indeed a privilege and pleasure to share with you today my lifes
