Electromechanical Design Scope of work

General:
The project is Thaleya cluster restaurants consist of two story existing building in Riyadh, Saudi
Arabia.
Project Brief:
The project consists of the following floors:
Ground floor plan (808 m2)
First floor plan
Program:
The quotation is required for HVAC, Mechanical systems, Fire Fighting and Electrical systems
designs and construction documents.
Stages of work:
1-

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT STAGE (30%):

Based on the approved conceptual design, preliminary design will be developed based on
the engineering criteria, and the following drawings will be submitted to the client for
review and approval:
Mechanical
- Floor single line HVAC (Duct layout) plans
- Equipment layout plan
Plumbing
- Floor drainage preliminary plans
- Floor water supply preliminary plans
Gas system:
- Gas system layout
Fire fighting system
- Floor firefighting preliminary plans
Electrical
- Floor power and communications preliminary plans
- Floor lighting supply preliminary plans
- CCTV system layout plan
- Security system layout plan
- POS system layout plan
- Fire alarm system layout

PRE-FINAL DESIGN DRAWINGS (80%):

Upon clients approval on the previous stage, the design will be finalized and the
following drawings will be submitted to the client for review and approval:

- Miscellaneous details
- Design calculations
Plumbing
- Floor drainage plans
- Floor water supply plans
- Miscellaneous details
Gas system:
- Gas system layout

- Floor power and communication plans
- Floor lighting layout plans
- CCTV system layout plan

CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS (FINAL DESIGN) (100%):

Upon clients approval on pre-final design drawings, the following documents will be
submitted to the client:
- Softcopy sets of all electromechanical drawings
- Softcopy sets of bills of quantities
- Softcopy sets of technical specifications
