Objective

Experience
Student Teaching

I completed my student teaching in the Fall 2015 semester. My first placement was
in a Kindergarten classroom at H.W. Good Elementary School. My second placement
was in a learning support classroom that covered the whole school from
Kindergarten-Fourth Grade at H.W. Good Elementary School.

I participated in an after-school tutoring program at Jeanette middle school

throughout the semester. We played games in the gym, helped with homework, and
taught mini lessons that followed the 4-H club.

Volunteering for Riding for the Handicapped of Western Pa

2015-Present

The volunteering will go towards forwarding my knowledge and experience with

special needs and disabilities. The volunteering hours will go towards becoming
certified in this type of therapy.

Multicultural Internship

I participated in a multicultural practicum at Green Valley Elementary School in East

Allegheny School District. During the semester I spent my time in a kindergarten
classroom observing, helping the teacher, teaching lessons, etc.

I participated in a special education practicum at Clairview Special Education

School. While there, I observed, interacted with students, taught lessons, and did
projects to reinforce learning.

I work as a Homecare Provider for individuals with disabilities. My clients range from
5 years old to 27 years old. In order to achieve my clients goals, I follow their
Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).

Throughout the years I have had multiple opportunities to assist with homework,
Cyber School, and participate in an after school-tutoring program.

Seton Hill University

2013-2015

Once adequate credits were transferred I continued my degree by working towards my

major in Early Childhood/Special Education at Seton Hill University.
Graduation Date- December 2015.
Current GPA 3.75 and was on Deans list three out of four semesters.
Westmoreland County Community College

2011-2013

I entered Westmoreland County Community College in the Early Childhood Education

program. This program was intended to aid towards my bachelor degree after I had
enough credits to transfer. I held a 3.5 GPA and was on Deans list once.
