As I have seen in the film, hunger, unemployment and poverty were

the main national issues presented. Hunger is really common these days
especially to those who live in poverty and cannot anymore afford to buy
enough food for their family. I included unemployment since this is one of
the main reasons why they cant sustain their familys needs, they are not
employed due to lack of proper education.
After watching the film, I felt really disappointed not just with the
Philippine government but also with the families themselves. There were so
many questions going along in my mind, what is the government doing to
address the issue?, paano sila makakabangon sa hirap kung anak sila ng
anak?, etc. Well, first of all, we know that the government isnt doing
anything about this, theyre just good with promises and words but they
really cant do it. I felt very disappointed with the parents because they
already know that theyre poor and cant sustain their childrens needs, yet
they still continue to make babies, dont they feel bad about their children?
The only victim here is their children, they have no idea that theyre already
experiencing poverty in this early age.
I cant think of any solution because the only solution is ourselves. I
have learned that change first starts with yourself, if you do not change the
way you look at things, nothing will happen to you. If you do not strive hard
enough, you cant bring home the reward. If you know how to work hard,
you will not suffer. Dont just be lazy and be busy with vices so that you
wont complain why youre living a life like yours.
