1. Briefly describe the field experience.

What did you learn about technology
facilitation and leadership from completing
this field experience?

In this experience, I was able to participate in a

loosely-structured conference environment where
my colleagues and I could discuss the many ways
in which to implement technology in our

educational practices. In leadership, one must

also learn how to yield to others, which is what
this conference offered.
2. How did this learning relate to the
knowledge (what must you know), skills
(what must you be able to do) and
dispositions (attitudes, beliefs, enthusiasm)
required of a technology facilitator or
technology leader? (Refer to the standards
you selected in Part I. Use the language of
the PSC standards in your answer and
reflect on all 3knowledge, skills, and
dispositions.)
This experience required the ability to possess some
amount of visionary leadership in seeing what was
presented and seeing how it could be utilized to
enhance my classroom instruction. I saw a wide
variety of technology-based tools and resources that
were applicable to all grade levels.
3. Describe how this field experience
impacted school improvement, faculty
development or student learning at your
school. How can the impact be assessed?
As a result of the first EdCamp Cobb in October of
2014, I learned that this was a fantastic experience
where I could collaborate with like-minded colleagues
around a variety of topics and subjects. This enabled
me to serve as a facilitator as well as a participant in
this conference.

(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)

1. Briefly describe the field experience.

What did you learn about technology
facilitation and leadership from completing

adoption.

This experience fortified my understanding of what it
takes to effectively work with adults when showing
them new pieces of technology. I observed that in
being an instructional leader, one must be sure to show
ones pupils of the relevance of the new technology
being shown.
3. Describe how this field experience
impacted school improvement, faculty
development or student learning at your
school. How can the impact be assessed?
This experience was one that had quite an impact on
my school environment. Many of my colleagues
immediately put Plickers to use within their classrooms
as student response systems and data collection
devices. The colleague with whom I presented and I
have taken time to check in on them to see the lasting
impact of it within their classrooms.
