Marketing & Development Coordinator, February 2014-Present
Advertises and promotes a wide range of EE programs through
targeted web-, print-, content-, and partnership-marketing tactics;
Develops and enhances key relationships and partnerships
with external stakeholders including schools, educators, and
environmental/conservation organizations, corporations and
businesses, foundations, and agencies;
Manages community-based environmental education programs
for children, adults, and families including SPARK (Shore People

Creativity Center at Hampshire College, Amherst, MA
Student Advisory Board Member, March 2011-December 2012
Selected as one of two students to join advisory board before
announcement of $500,000 grant to Hampshire College to create
a center that fosters imaginative thinking and collaboration across
fields of knowledge;
Participated in visioning sessions for the creation of the Creativity
Center;
Organized and hosted a series of World-Cafe style events and
Hampshires first TEDx talk.

Facilitates an intergenerational program for local families to learn
outside of the classroom through nature-based activities and
environmental education with an emphasis on local changes in the
environment and global climate change;
Leads SPARK Creekwatchers program for families interested in
participating in citizen science and serves as Quality Assurance lead
for data collections;
Manages Virginia Department of Environmental Quality Citizen
Monitoring Grant to support Creekwatchers program.
Living Shoreline Project, August 2014-Present
Received a $91,000 EPA grant to restore marsh and oyster habitat
while using the site as a public model for restoration practices and
outdoor classroom with K-12 students, SPARK families, and with
other community programs;
Designs additional programs and research opportunities for member
universities and interns to utilize the Living Shoreline;
Works with the local community to provide knowledge, tools, and
resources to take action on their own properties to adapt to sea
level rise.
Changing Landscapes Exhibit, June 2015-Present
Received and manages a $3,000 NASA grant to implement an
interactive exhibit about climate change in CBFSs Education Center
and at the Living Shoreline site.

Oyster Castles in Welcome Centers, May 2014-Present
Works with Virginia Tourism Commission to create and install displays in official Virginia Welcome Centers
to educate the public about climate change and the importance of oysters in our watersheds.
NET Volunteer Program, February 2013-February 2014
Created and managed a volunteer program for university students to care for and utilize the trail for
recreation through outing club and community events;
Co-facilitated 5-College Outdoor Fest to bring students from five local universities together to experience
the trail and participate in stewardship activities;
Coordinated trail work days and annual meetings for 18 trail adopters in MA;
Recruited and managed two Ridgerunners during spring/summer 2013.
The Eyes of Our Future: Care Center Photography, January 2012-May 2012
Received and managed $5,000 Social Venture Fund grant to develop The Eyes of Our Future, a bi-lingual
photography exhibition and community event;
Partnered with local museums, businesses, and organizations to showcase local community assets in
Holyoke, MA.
The Riverscaping Project, September 2011-May 2012
Student lead on grant from the European Union Delegation to explore sustainable approaches to using the
Connecticut River through learning, research, and design;
Designed a comprehensive map of the river as a part of a two-year project to connect communities in
Massachusetts that border the river;
Helped to facilitate community planning sessions with local government officials, community organizations,
and local businesses.
