The learning plans were suffecient.
The whole group transition to small groups was seamless.
The teaching of main idea, supporting details, and important details using the VA History text was a great example of
using strategies in both language arts and VA History.
Strong command of the class.
The language arts learning target of using a graphic organizer to identify the main idea and the supporting details of non
fiction text was in alignment with what was being taught.
Prior knowledge was tapped into.
This lesson was well done. It was well planned, had a nice pace, and students were learning. I especially love that
everyone was active in their centers and there was acoountability for all that they did.
