Snapshot of Practice: How do you know they know (the standard)?

When assessing them with the performance of their word, sentences, and
pictures, I will be able to assess their knowledge of the vocabulary terms. They are
using their collaborative skills by being placed in the group to make unanimous
decisions for their group posters. They set rules for who was in charge of what and
had to complete the poster in a timely fashion. They were able to build on each others
ideas by respectfully communicating what they would like to be found on the poster,
along with presenting their alternative views. The stronger students in the groups
were able to help those students who were struggling with parts of speech and have
group collaboration and peer review.
