Despite American historys heavy reliance on immigrants, policies are still written today
regarding immigration.
Some Americans discriminate (in the same ways as they have in history)
Usually immigrants are still less accepted into society until second generations
Jobs acquired are diverse - some immigrants receive well paying jobs immediately whilst
others suffer low pay and demand for long hours
instant safety is experienced by those from areas in conflict
