Summary of Implementation:
Each website is designed to strengthen students prior knowledge
of subjects. I would allow certain times for students to engage in the
websites during class. Each student will be allowed to participate in
these activities if all their work is finish. In my classroom I would have
three computer stations. Children will alternate turns using the
computer. When it is a students turn to use the computer they will be
able to pick from the websites to advance their skills in which ever
subject they choose. This allows students the freedom to work at their
own pace, and ask questions if needed. I would also incorporate these
activities into small group using the classroom i-pads. This would allow
me to see what areas students need more help in. I would use the
reading websites during whole group time. This will give students a
different way to obtain material. I would provide a list of these
websites to each student so that they can practice independently on
their skills at home. I would incorporate the web quests into classroom
activities. This will allow students an opportunity to explore different
methods of learning, including working in groups, having
manipulatives, and also have visual aids. Using these web tools
students should improve, and thrive in each subject.
