Non Profits we work with

Camp HOBE
Camp Hob is a special summer camp designed for
children with cancer and their siblings, who are often
forgotten in the cancer experience. Camp Hob gives kids
the opportunity to participate in camp activities just like
healthy children whose families are not affected by cancer.
The camp program provides medical and psychosocial
supervision to ensure children are safe both mentally and
physically during camp.

Labs for liberty

Mission 1) Gift custom trained service dogs to Veterans.
2) Provide free vacation lodging at Liberty Outpost for Veterans and
their families.
Ultimately, our missions serve to improve the quality of the lives of
the Warrior and their family, while potentially saving lives.

Camp Hobe societal impact

Camp Hobe serves families from (Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada)
Camp Hob kids grow in spirit, strength, and understanding
Allows cancer patients/survivors and family members to be kids not
cancer survivors

Labs for liberty societal impact

Everyday 22 Veterans commit suicide, that's 1 every 65 minutes, and
8,030 per year! That's more than the War on Terror since 2001 which
has claimed 6,717 American lives.

The Impact
The Impact Hearing the stories and seeing the impact that our dogs have and will
have on their Veteran is what brings a smile to our faces and tears to
our eyes. They were called to duty, had a passion for what they did,
and risked their life. To be able to gift them with a loyal companion
who will calm their nerves, wake them from nightmares, and put a
smile on their face with their wiggling tail and bright eyes is what
we're all about.

Pi Kappa Alphas role

The role of Pike at the University of Utah is to give students and members of the
university community an opportunity to become aware of these issues and more
importantly to get involved.
Last year our organization raised $20,000
$10,000 for each organization
Created an opportunity for our members to be engaged
