After discussing my ideas for my inquiry project with my group, not much
changed. The members of my group did not have much criticism or feedback. They
mainly just listened to my ideas and agreed that they liked the idea of my paper. They
thought that it would hold a lot of potential to make an interesting inquiry paper.
My next step of the inquiry project is the inquiry proposal. It is designed to
expand my thoughts and figure out ways that will allow me to develop my paper. The
inquiry proposal will force me to come up with potential questions that I can research that
will go into my inquiry project. So far, these are the questions that I have come up with:

How many children are abused a year?

How many neglected children is there per year?
What happens to the abused and neglected kids?
How many kids does CPS take per year? Where do these kids live? What is it
like?
Are there ways to help stop the abuse of children?
What are things people can do to prevent child abuse from happening?
How does child abuse affect a child in the long run?
What do you do if you notice a situation of child abuse?

The proposal will help guide me in my research and provide a list of topics and
questions that I can turn to when I feel like I am stuck.
