When we talk about principle of division we end trying analysis on what the
reader is trying to tell us. In order to covey this the author must use his analyzes and
develop role-playing people associated in order to get his ideas. In James Parkers essay
Our Zombies, Ourselves his principle of division used was telling us about the origin
an He gives us a much better skeptical on zombies and how our imaginations have
brought them to be apart of the living.
First Parker goes on saying that he was shocked that it took so long for us to bring
back zombies into the real world. Also he questions about the thought of all zombies. He
quotes The only surprising thing about the modern zombie- is that he took so long to
arrive. He also states that But sometimes a zombie is just a zombie. By this we can tell
that Parker is trying to elaborate on the idea of zombies and what have are imaginations
done to influence them. We can tell that Parker understands this by all the details and
research brought upon the topic about zombies. He also refers to popular shows like
Walking Dead and tells us how the zombie has outdone the vampire in fictional post
model over the years. He states But its the zombie, old reliable, whos really bringing
home the bacon. He tells us that no matter what zombies are the best non-real creature in
todays time. Therefore I can clearly agree that Parker uses principle division to get a
better understanding of zombies in our modern era.
