Introduction: Reflection is important because it lets the audience know the process you went
through to become a better writer. When I first came into English 1000 I didnt think it would be
more challenging than high school English. I dont feel like high school prepared us enough to
write 4-5 page essays that includes more explanation and details. I am a person who has a
passion for writing and letting my readers understand where I am coming from but sometimes it
becomes a struggle because I cant think of how to set up my paper without getting help.
Body paragraphs should have topic sentences and examples that support your assertions. Use
examples to interpret what you have learned.
Define your theory of writing- my theory of writing went help me go from okay to better

Conclusion: when you develop a theory of writing it can help you in so many ways like to
become a better writer and help you go from not knowing how to write essay when you first get
out of high school to being the best writer before you finish college
