The PS4, which was created by SONY punctuation has sold over twenty five
million units around the world by last June since the start of its sales in November 2013. This
is the fastest sales in the history of the Playstation series, more than PS2 which has been
sold over 155 million in twelve years. Why so many people buy one is because Playstation
series has been sold with strategic advertisements. Playstation Portable White
advertisements, which was only developed in Netherland, 2006, inspire white supremacy,
which is shown by Pathos, which is emotional appeal, the need to dominate punctuation
goes inside quotation marks, and the so what claim punctuation goes inside quotation
marks. You have a good thesis statement, but you brought in a lot of outside
information about sales into your introduction paragraph. First, you need to cite in the

Instead, you can talk about the advertisement, about Sony, or about Playstations and
their popularity without researching it.
The advertisement shows that remove one white woman who is grabbing a black
woman and threatens tense her. On the right side of the advertisement, the white woman is
standing over the black woman. Her face looks angry so that she is clenching her teeth
against the black woman remove. Her hairs are also white and have a lot of volume in order
to make her height much taller than the black woman. They wear the clothes which are the
same as their skin colors. The White womans dress looks cool and pretty well designed, but
on the contrary, black womans clothes are just black and the shirt has big buttons on it. It
almost looks like a slave possessive clothing. The White womans position is higher than
black woman to show her dominance. The black woman looks sad and weak. She seems that
she cannot reject the white womans power. The background of the advertisement is so black
that it can emphasize the contrast of the whiteness and the blackness. Also, there is a sentence
on the upper left side on the advertisement. It says that replace with punctuation

The advertisement of Playstation Portable white used Pathos ideology, which
appeals to peoples emotion. White people feel superior to black people when they see this

advertisement. It makes the customer feel like if they get PS4, they can feel superior to
another race of people, which is black. The white culture is considered as a cool culture in
this world. Therefore punctuation this advertisement even makes people feel they are cool if
they get the product, remove because they feel like they are the part of the white dominant
culture. On the other hand, the black people feel very bad and disappointing tense when they
see this. By stimulating peoples mind like this, this product could get attention from these

Also, the strategies of colors punctuation which are black and white punctuation
appeal to reword this this advertisement. Black is serious, bold, powerful and classic. It
creates drama and connotes sophistication. Black works well for expensive products, but can
also make a product look heavy. (Williams) Remember that you need to avoid floating

the citation. In this advertisement, black works well because Playstation Portable is not

considered their own culture as high culture, and other cultures as low culture in order to
sustain their supremacy and distinguish white and slaves. These 16th century European
conquest still affects us. Even in Japan, where people speak only Japanese and have never
been colonized in the history, people tend to think white culture as cool, because there are a
lot of media which shows white people as beauty. The famous brands such as Gucci or Dior
use white models on the advertisements to fascinate the customers. They have huge posters in
Shibuya, which is one of the most crowded places in Tokyo. Also, Abercrombie and fitch,
Hollister, and American Eagle are very popular brands for young Japanese people. They wear
the clothes and put the pictures on Instagram and follow white models who wear these types
of American brands. Not only foreign brands but some Japanese brands such as Bold, which
is a laundry soap brand and TOYOTA, which is a famous car company also use white
celebrities for their advertisements. Bold uses Miranda Kerr and she speaks Japanese in the
advertisement. TOYOTA uses Hugh Jackman and he sings in English but covers Japanese
pop music. The reason why is because they are beautiful and popular from Japanese people.
Also, we rarely dont see non-Whites as main characters in Hollywood movies, or if the main
character is another race, the advertisements of that movie definitely put white people to the
front. These image which is created by media promotes white supremacy in this world.
People consider this white dominance as natural so that they consume those products. Back to
the advertisement of Playstation, the advertisement was placed in the Netherland, where most
people are white. That appeals to their need to dominate naturally. They dont even notice
there is a white supremacy, because they dont have to think about the fact that they are
white. The information in this paragraph is extremely important and is all right, but you
need to focus on the advertisement and analyzing the ad in your body paragraphs. Some
of this information would work well in your introduction paragraph. Transition

way, and the white dominance has been normalized all over the world since long time ago,
but they are manipulated unconsciously by the advertisement and become customers of these
products.
