Othello Social Impact

In the World:
Othello has shaped our world by teaching us how easily people can get manipulated in
our world. No matter how strong, weak, smart, or dumb someone is there is still a
chance they can get fooled like the characters did in this play. It has taught people ways
to control and influence others as well as how to avoid it.

In our Culture:
Othello also has showed all of us how much our culture has changed since this time but
a lot of it remains the same. Ruling and the cultural beliefs changed but things like
religious beliefs and the way people behave is still here in our culture today.

In our Literature:
It has changed and shape our literature of today. It has inspired many other new plays
and stories about tragedies and manipulation like in Othello. It also showed new ways to
write literature. It has also created other new character inspired by the ones in Othello.
