Camera Shot Types

Close up- This is to focus on facial expression and emotions when the
scene is typically sad and emotional

Medium shot- This is used to show the face with less focus on the
facial expressions but more focus on movement and appearance
which is tied in with the clothing aspect of mise-en-scene.

Medium long shot- This is used to show some aspects of the actor
but there is more of a purpose to show the surrounding as well as
the actor/actress.
