Academic History
Graduated from the University of Richmond with a 2.7GPA in May 2013, majoring in Latin,
Classical Studies and Leadership Studies. Minored in Greek.
Graduated as a member of the Eta Sigma Phi Classics Honor Society
Was Featured by my University Health and Wellness Department for losing 50lbs as well as my
grasp of fitness principles.
Graduated with a 3.1GPA from Hillsdale Academy in 2009, and made honor roll for all 4 years
there.
Attended two study abroad programs with Hillsdale College. One was a trip to Rome that
focused on Classical Civilization and Western Heritage while the other was a study of World
War 2 in England and France. I also attended a study abroad program with the University of
Dallas, which studies Sir Thomas Moore. I received As in all of the courses.
Prior Job Experience
Paid Summer Internship with the Claremont Institute Think Tank in Claremont California
Worked as an Election Inspector for Hillsdale County during the 2008 Presidential Election
Worked on the Hillsdale College Grounds Crew and laster as an assistant for the Maintenance
Department.
Worked an unpaid internship at Hillsdale Academy where I sat in, graded and occasionally
taught a lesson for 4-5 days a week.
Worked as a paid Latin tutor for two High School Students at Hillsdale Academy, as well as, two
college students at Hillsdale College.
Taught for a semester as a Latin teacher (all levels) at Estancia Valley Classical Academy in
Moriarty NM and hope to finish out the next semester
Am a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer
