Argument for
In the article by Allen Danielle,
he brings up the issue that the
legalization of marijuana
pushes up incarceration and
generates other negative social
outcomes. By legalizing
marijuana the incarceration
goes up and war and crime
rises as well. A good example
of this is the prohibition of
alcohol which led to high crime
rates and caused the
government to lose money and
eventually legalize alcohol.

The article by Daniels Melissa she

states In states where it's legal,
marijuana is a treatment option for
illnesses including glaucoma,
seizures, post-traumatic stress,
cancer and chronic pain.
Marijuana has recently been
known for treating many illnesses.
The legalization of marijuana may
lead to alternative treatments in
the medical field which may allow
doctors to do further research and
expand the usage of marijuana.

Lane Charles states in his article A bipartisan marijuana myth that Apropos
of former Florida governor Jeb Bush's admitted youthful marijuana use, Sen.
Rand Paul (Ky.) +-Lane shows the stereotype behind marijuana in his article.
People against marijuana usage debate that marijuana is used by blacks or
Mexicans not necessarily true however, our current president Obama has even
admitted to have smoked pot. This leads to speculation that marijuana usage
leads to incarceration and school dropouts and serves as an example that
marijuana doesnt necessarily lead to incarceration or high school/ college
dropouts
